Privacy Policy — PersonaStudio

Who we are

PersonaStudio is a self-hosted content and social-account management tool operated by the account owner ("the operator"). It manages the operator's own social media accounts.

What data we access

When you connect a social account (e.g. TikTok) via the official OAuth login, PersonaStudio receives and stores an access token and refresh token for that account only. Using these tokens it may read public profile information and statistics (follower count, view count, video list) and — only on the operator's instruction — publish content and reply to comments on the connected account.

How we use it

• Display the account's statistics on the operator's private dashboard.
• Schedule and publish the operator's own content.
• Generate and send replies to incoming messages/comments, when enabled.

We do not sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.

Storage & retention

Tokens and settings are stored on the operator's own server/volume. Tokens can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the account in PersonaStudio or in the platform's app settings. On disconnection the stored tokens are deleted.

YouTube API Services

PersonaStudio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

• What we access: with the scope youtube.readonly we read your own channel statistics (subscriber, view and video counts) and comments on your own videos; with the scope youtube.force-ssl we upload your own videos (YouTube Shorts) and post replies to comments on your own channel.
• Only your own channel: all actions happen exclusively on the channel you connect, at your explicit request. We never access any other user's channel.
• How we store it: the YouTube access and refresh tokens are stored on the operator's own server and used only to perform the actions above. We do not sell or share this data.
• Revoke & delete: you can disconnect the channel in PersonaStudio at any time — this revokes the token with Google and deletes it from our storage. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data deletion

Disconnecting an account immediately deletes its stored tokens. To delete all remaining data associated with your account, contact the operator (below) or remove the deployment's data volume; there is no separate cloud copy.

Third-party platforms

Connected platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) process data under their own privacy policies. PersonaStudio only acts within the scopes the operator authorizes.
